  • You need to exfoliate the skin of the face at least once a fortnight. This helps to remove the dead skin cells which accumulate on the top layer of the skin. You can prepare your own exfoliating solutions at home by making a thick paste of crystalline substances like sugar or salt and rubbing them on your face. You have to allow them to remain on the face for a while and then rinse them out. The mild rubbing action actually scrapes the dead cells away. You also get exfoliating products commercially. You could safely try them out.
  • Be careful of the foods that you eat. Oily, calorie-rich foods are bad for you if you get acne often. These foods can increase the oiliness of the skin which can increase the chances of acne.
On the whole, stay cheerful and happy and take care of your body. Acne is just an indication that something's not quite right with the way you are tending to your body. It is nature's way of telling you that your body needs more care and attention.
